We will be exploring a couple of new destinations for 2022 and so haven’t currently got a trip scheduled for the Canary islands, however if you’re keen to join us on one in the future or another destination, get in touch
Lanzarote is one of the larger and most western of the Canary Island chain. Known for their year round sunshine and super summer trade winds, it is a great spot for a late summer week.
We have spent a lot of time on the island since 2001, and have got to know it well. Thanks to this and the help of Irish Mike, a good friend of ours and resident to the island, you get a real taste of the ‘local Lanzarote’ visiting the best spots for kiting, surfing, SUPing, exploring and eating.
Costa Teguise is our home for the week, a fantastic bay and with the beach being on the doorstep of the accommodation its perfect for a morning swim, SUP, windsurf or kite.
Famara is however our main kiting spot; a beautiful wide horseshoe bay with a spectacular cliff backdrop. This spot has loads to offer for all abilities with great waves as well as flat water areas and downwinder opportunities.
