In 2006 Andy became a Kitesurfing Trainer Examiner, this is the highest level of instructor you can reach, training people how to teach & coach.
He wrote the training scheme for the British Kitesports Association (BKSA) and is the author of both The Kiteboarding manual, ISAF Beginners guide to kiteboarding as well as the Australian, Turkish and World Sailing training schemes.
Easyriders have run Instructor courses for Kitesurfing and SUP since 2006 and more recently we added Kite Foil Instructor to the available courses.
Throughout the year we run a number of BKSA Kitesurf Level 1, Senior, Foiling and Coaching courses, Wingsurf and Wingfoil instructor courses, as well as BSUPA Level 1 and Level 2 courses.
We are nationally the only watersports centre certified to be able to offer the full range of qualification courses available.
For some of the courses listed above you require first aid and RYA powerboat level 2 to remain qualified as an instructor. We can put you in touch with local providers to also obtain these.
As well as UK based courses we also run a ‘zero to hero’ instructor course taking you from a beginner/intermediate kitesurfer through to BKSA Level 1 instructor qualified. This course is based around our Brazil coaching clinics, offering the candidate 5 weeks of coaching, personal kite skills development and teaching experience in brazil followed by a 1 week instructor course in the UK.
