Adventure Activities Licensing Authority

The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) came into existence in April 1996. It is currently sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions. The Health and Safety Executive is currently designated as the AALA.

Adventure activities licensing ensures that activity providers follow good safety management practices.

These should allow young people to experience exciting and stimulating activities outdoors without being exposed to avoidable risks of death or disabling injury.

Coacoara Foundation

Coacoara is a non-profitable foundation in aid of tackling single-use plastic from the average household all the way to the shopping industry.
In doing so, Coacoara provides alternative biodegradable and compostable products in order to reduce plastic usage.  From bamboo toothbrushes to compostable cling film, we are starting to make a real impact to get rid of household plastics!

British Kitesports Association

British Kitesports is the National Governing Body, or ‘NGB’ for kitesurfing and other kitesports in the UK. We are the only UK body to invest in the long term growth and sustainability of all kitesports in Britain. We work non-stop to ensure a future for all kitesports disciplines and participants. Our work encompasses a huge range of areas and that includes keeping beaches and other flying sites open.

BB Talkin

BbTALKIN is a game changing Wireless Bluetooth Communication system for athletes, students and coaches worldwide. This technology enhances the learning curve two fold in both water and winter sports. It is a real time coaching tool which allows the coach to instantly train and provide feedback to the student. If you are a pro athlete or a beginner, the benefits of this communication system is exceptional. Coaches no longer have to yell, for example, from the shoreline, jet ski or boat. Communication distance is 1 mile (1600m).

BSUPA

BSUPA leads the development of the sport through training/coaching schemes for UK SUP schools, National and International Championship events, fun SUP events and BSUPA provides third party insurance for its members through Bluefin Sport Insurance Ltd.

BSUPA was founded in 2007 by Olaus McLeod and together with Bill Fitzhugh, Grant Winter, Simon Bassett and Matt Argyle. BSUPA was officially created as an association to represent the interests of the Stand Up Paddle Boarder.
